Moku Nui Lava Tours offers an intimate tour along the coastline to where lava meets the ocean. We operate a 25′ catamaran that can accommodate up to 6 guests and is equipped with Captain swivel chairs for the best viewing. Our small lava boat tours will take you on a once in a life time experience to witness the spectacular blended colors of spewing lava and explosive volcanic fireworks as the lava meets the ocean.

Wailoa Boat Harbor
93 Lihiwai St, Hilo, HI 96720
(next to Suisan Fish Market)

Due to the recent lava activity we are no longer able to depart from Pohoiki harbor because it is inaccessible. We will now be departing out of the Hilo/Wailoa harbor, this makes the trip almost twice as long and double the cost per trip. To keep our tour the most affordable as possible, we will be combining our tour with one of the bigger boats “Ohana” and will be operating our 6 pax boat for media and private tours only.

Passenger Requirements:

1. Participants must be between 10-65 years old, older guests please use your own discretion.
